I live in MS, just last night I was talking about the run down towns but like she said 33 churches in Shaw 33, that’s crazy! No jobs down in the delta. You have to move to the North (Desoto County) or the very end in the South ( Jackson) for a decent living. A red state and used to be the poorest until LA took its place a few yrs ago. LA, MS, AR the poorest states in the entire country!! Some of these ppl have no hope because they can’t see past what’s in their daily reality. These small towns are filled with liquor stores, churches, and juke joints(clubs) and 2 of those I just listed leads to fights and death or depression. Nothing good, poor ppl getting drunk everyday with nothing to do every single day that leads to senseless crime. One day I’ll go back to my hometown and put some stores and houses there. It is so.. 🙏🏾🤲🏾💛💫
